well apart from the fucked up music that sound like the soundtrack from an animie porn flick ...where the fuck is the ceramic..all I see is some guy shoving cotton in another run of the mill Mc Nugget tank.

the coil itself is made of ceramic. same as the vapeston ceramikus. im waiting for maddcattvapors toget their shipment in and ill give the coil a shot. Not really interested in the tank itself yet, but since the coil will work in a maganus/starre Ill give one a shot to see if what its all about

It didn't show the ceramic coil... just the rebuildable deck that also comes with the tank.

If the FDA were to do the worst, and we could no longer buy new prebuilt coils, the longevity of ceramic coils makes them a great choice for those who can not get around regulations by building their own.

I would buy a tank and a few packs of coils, and store them away in case that dark day comes. Along with a lot of decent inexpensive juice and a spare mod.

I looked at RTAs with OCC coils like Atomamizer and Goliath. I am not good with my hands, dont have time to rewick every other day, etc.

On my rebuildable coils I use Cellucotton and only have to re wick about every two weeks unless I use dark e-juice then it's about 4 to 7 days. I'm looking forward to seeing how the CC vapes!

Thanks, Mark..... Interesting.

Also, the Freemax site says the ceramic coils can fit Starre and Starre Pro. So I guess they might fit Atlantis V2 and Herakles, transforming them into straight forward tanks that could go well over 100w and not burn out the coils for months.

I do not need elaborate top fills and juice controls that cause leaking, or top airflow unless meaningful like Herk Plus.

Not sure on release date for these or their Vapeston cousin..... Or what the taste might be.....

Ceramic coils exist in Vaporesso Target and upcoming Cerovape Soter but looks like for more entry level vapers. I heard the Target coils might also fit the Atlantis style tanks and handle 75w.

I tried the ceramic coils, flavor was good, only work in wattage mode and last a couple of DAYS! I can have a ni200 starre pro coils last weeks.
IMO, the coils are junk. Don't waste the $6.00 per on them!

Where did you get them? Are you using them in the tank they are made for or a freemax?

They came from subtank supply, and I'm certain the coils will be the same in the upcoming tank as stated above. They were used in a Freemax Starre Pro tank for which they fit perfectly and look identical to the ni200 coils with the exception of having tiny holes for juice transfer to the ceramic. It also appears there is some cotton surrounding the ceramic in the coils which would make sense for the premature demise of said coils.
The really didn't produce much of anything below 60 watts.
Here's a photo of one with 3 tanks through it at 70 watts!

Interesting, thanks for the info. Some YouTube "experts" are already slaughtering goats at its feet, nice to hear some real world experience.

Fliprrrr is correct. These coils are also extremely power hungry. You have to suck long and hard, and at least in the high 80s. I guess ppl in this business have no shame.

Anyone know if Vaporesso are any better?

I thought G Clapton were pretty bad, and new Kanger SOCC a mixed bag. Going to try Coral in TFV4 too.

Then theres SMOK Tech. Took 30 min to get TFV4 apart from seized o ring yesterday, and my new Koopor Plus is posessed.

Hello, Bueller??

I vaped porous ceramic wicks in a genny ...they are the best, but I would like to know more about the ceramic they are using ...the Chinese are very well known for producing posionous dangerous shit .the primary reason I got into rebuildable years ago..I don't trust the Chinese.

You are right about it, because the cotton touch the heat core too tight, what do you think about another ceramic coil version made by Gigue Tech

I grabbed a ceramic vapeston coil and threw it in my orignal maganus

needs at least 70 watts to taste it. It tastes great. Ive been thorugh maybe 6 tanks on it. Im not sure I like it better then a kanthal or SS coil but it works. It does alter the flavor of the juice somewhat.
Its not better or worse, just different.

Using one with a freemax starre pro for avout 30 minutes now. Resistance jumps from 0.3 to about 0.6 after vaping. Anyone experiencing the same? At 50w flavor is muted but vapor production is decent. Heats up slowly. I suspect, it hits well after resistance jumps to 0.6. I take 2-3 pulls at a time. Will increase watts after a few tanks. Hope this lasts as advertised.

no resistance jump on my coil in a maganus. take it to at least 70. 50 is no where enough power for these coils. i have mine at 106ish now

At 60w now. Still flavor is muted. I'll increase slowly. Will transfer the coil to an orig starre to see if the resistance still jumps. Don't like how its power hungry but I'll take that if it lasts a month.

So used two different coils and two different tanks. Resistance jumps from 0.3 to 0.6 ohms for all. One coil is destroyed less than 2 days of use. I ordered the tank. Could be a bad batch of coils. Tank should be here end of week. I hope.

Got the tank today. Love the tighter draw. Ceramic coil resistance still jumping around in power mode. Switched it to temp control and the resistance is steady. In this mode, there is no ramp time. It hits decently on nickel tcr 500f and 65w. No dry hits. It does get hot. Flavor is great and vapor is nice. Using a regular kanthal 0.25 ohm coil, it hits like a champ. Imo better than the original freemax and freemax pro in flavor and vapor production. Love it so far.

As usual, we all have different preferences with how we vape, so ymmv.

I had ask freemax but I got the typical no answer answer from them. Can you tell if the coils are surrounded in the ceramic like the cCell coils are are they just a wick of ceramic with the coil wrapped around it.

the vapeston/freestar coils are actually ceramic. meaning no wires, no kanthalo,no ss etc. I mean sure there has to be something attaching it to the + _ leads of the tank but I havent destroyed one yet to find out. The ceramic is circular like a coil would be. then they wrap it with cotton just like their standard DVC kanthal or ni200 coils

I'm supposed to get some Vaporesso Ceramic cCELL Replacement Coils (maybe, eventually) to test and review from Heaven Gifts.

Ceramic is the coil material and it is wrapped in cotton.

So resistance started to jump around again even in temp mode. Destroyed another ceramic coil. So far dissapointed with these coils. In power mode with ceramic coils, it ramps up and needs high watts to get a satisfying vape. May have gotten a bad batch of ceramic coils? Will try another coil sometime this weekend.

Kanthal is great. Have not tried ni200. Ceramic....from my experience, don't believe the hype.

If you have the original starre, its a nice upgrade if you want top filled. Otherwise imo no need to upgrade from already a great tank.

If you have the starre pro, and the tip bothers you because of the holes, this is a nice upgrade because they did away with the holes and it performs similarly or slightly better imo. Top filled is also improved as you don't have to turn it on or off like the pro.

No, you didn't get a bad batch. They are just junk.

at 50 i find it anemic
60 it starts to shine
the mor eyou give it the mor eit takes and the better it gets i think
havent gone past 120 yet

edit
ok i took it to 150
still greaqt flavor and very warm

i think after about 70 watts its a matter of preference of how warm you want i and how fast you want it to ramp it self up

i am using diy juice.

Ive tried 3 different ones, from HIC 3mm to my own peach mango recipe. similar results.

but taste is subjective.
some like a crown .5 at 40 watts while i feel its best at 53w

the main thing to take away from this for me is
the ceramic coil can handle a HUGE RANGE OF POWER
