Glowing leads?

My leads leading into the posts are glowing is this normal or should I be worried.

Compress your coil after heating it up (not while firing it unless you have ceramic tip tweezers). Fire it again, if it persists, strum the coil - take the tweezers and stroke the top of the coil (not hard) a few times. Pulse the coil in 1 to 2 second bursts until it glow evenly.

I'm going to add, heating will cause some scale. No big deal. We get more crap by breathing.

Vaping is safer than breathing, if you get down to it. Liquid filtered air. Case closed.
