Please share your money saving secrets with the rest of us!!!
Not too many secrets I'm afraid. For mods, I favor solid over pretty. For atomizers, I use the Smok Dripper RDA exclusively: great taste, no drip tip needed (one less thing to buy), single coil (less kanthal to use), small chamber (less wick to use), dirt cheap if you buy them in bulk.
For consumables, I buy kanthal from electronic component suppliers instead of vape shops. Silica comes from vape shops, but only because I don't need the 500 yards my local chemical supplies wholesaler requires as a minimum purchase. When I make coil/wicks, I use as little kanthal/silica as necessary so I don't waste trimming them too much.
For nic bases (VG for me), I don't go cheap - cheap juices make me sick more often than not - but I buy in bulk. I currently have 3 years worth of stock, for me and a few friends. I don't vape PG because I'm intolerant to it, so I don't have to buy PG. I buy plain jane VG at my local chemist.
And of course, I charge my batteries at work - which technically is theft I suppose
