Is it no good to run the hg2 in a bf pulse?

I'm running my coils at around 15A.

I was just told hg2 is for regulated mods.

"No and just no other pepz have used brown for mechs with a bad outcome, any hu I can only inform, if you feel confident and happy. I am happy two, 3000mah is not for mech and surely not for ohms under 0.20. Even if it is a 20amp still can't compare to 30amps and over. Again I actually just wanted to say congrats on your new purchase bud, killer setup but it will be better with an 30amp batt "

He says it can become a bad outcome.

Running about 15 amps should be fine with the HG2.
Anything up to 20 amps is fine for the HG2. Which would be around .2 ohms. Never go below .2 on a GOOD 20 amp battery.
The VTC5A would be a better overall choice. Less capacity but hits harder.

I will refrain from commenting on the BF Pulse mod....
I did voltage drop tests on it.

I'm following the thread over on G+. I said there, and I'll say here, you're fine with 0.2 Ohm and up builds. I only spoke up because others were recommending ridiculous low builds. For those low builds, an 30 Amp cell is needed.

Did a research on voltage drop on the pulse, pinching the breaker bar is suppose to fix it, I did that. Is this true?

It can help but not really 'fix' it.
I pinched the breaker switch finger thingys and measured the drop across just the breaker switch while firing and got a pretty small drop. But yes if it does not fit snugly it will cause excessive drop.
The pivot point of the breaker switch measured a noticeable voltage drop.

In my tests the Pico Squeeze far outperformed the Pulse BF mod on voltage drop.

As long as you stay within their CDR you're perfectly fine. For me though the best 18650 for Mech's are Sony VTC5A's, simply IMO (and Mooch) the best 18650's for Mech's. They hit very, very good and the balance of power (amps) and mAh is excellent.

Pico is regulated though.
Not the Pico Squeeze.
It is a switch fet.

they mention something about a 50W limit but the Pico Squeeze does not limit the wattage as I tested it at 70W.
The maximum wattage on switchfet devices is only the recommended maximum wattage.
I have not seen one yet that will limit the maximum wattage.

I'm still lost, you said I think, pulse has worse volt drop than the pico, I looked up the pico squeeze and its a regulated mod. Right?
The Pico mod is regulated but the Pico Squeeze Squonk mod is a switchFet mod.
with NO regulation aside from reverse batt protection and 5 click on and off.
some say it is regulated to 50W but I have tested them to well over 60W as measured at the atty.
50W is its 'recommended' maximum wattage.

I was speaking of the Squeeze version.
And yes the Pulse BF mod has MUCH worse voltage drop than the Pico Squeeze.
