High PG in Sub-Ohm Vaping

I have a TC-80 by SMOK, with a TFV4 micro tank, and I was thinking of trying a 50pg/50vg juice. However, I have heard that it could be overly harsh and/or could burn up my coils more quickly than my usual 30pg/70vg juices.

How much truth is there to this? Also, can I just use a 1.0 ohm coil in my TFV4 micro tank to solve any issues?

The problem with high VG juice in sub ohm coils is wicking. The thick viscosity makes wicking slower to keep up with the coil's need to prevent dry hits and burning cotton.

The harshness depends on the MG OF THE NICOTINE... and off course the quality of ur jooze..

My ADV was a 50/50 6mg mix in the TFV8 (.15 quad coil) and it wasn't harsh at all. But it did dry my nasal tissues out something horrible waking up with that I just got punched in the nose metallic smell was no bueno. So I have since raised my VG up to 70%, if it doesn't dry you out its a perfectly good mix.
