Holding wire using fly tying bobbins

I bought a couple of these fly tying bobbins from ebay. I've found them very useful for stopping my wire from unwinding and also just holding the wire in place. They very cheap to buy.

I will look on Amazon first. I am trying to put together a $35 order so I get the free $&H.

But they look like they will make handling wire much easier and avoid kinks.

They do. It's the convenience factor especially for thinner guage wire which tends to spring off.
