How much air gap freezing 16 oz amber bottles?

I plan to buy 16 oz amber glass bottles to freeze pure vg 20 mg nic... along side smaller 2 oz bottles. I will decant from the large to the small as necessary every few months. I want to be sure the glass does not shatter. I will be placing this in a standard freezer.

Any tips for how much air to leave in the 16 oz, and 2 oz bottles to safely allow for expansion?

I missed this one... better late than never. Unlike water, VG should not expand when frozen. I'm not 100% sure but as long as there is some air space they should be fine. The bad news is frozen VG is super thick and hard to pour (that's why I like to get nic in PG) You may need to let it warm up some before transferring.

I fill my boston rounds to the bottom of the neck (with 100mg in VG) and have never noticed any expansion at all.
