I'm so sorry in advance :c

I'm a COMPLETE NEWBIE to vaping and I'm not sure what are the best things and what to look for and, mostly everything. An acquaintance of mine said I should try it and well I liked it and I've been wanting to start but I'm not exactly sure what is the best mod box, what kind of juice is better, etc. I'm sorry in advance, I'm just new to this.

Is it possible to find out the kind of vape your acquaintance was using?

Might be nice to just get what they had, being as you already tried it

Just be careful when you go to a B&M - they are not all created equal.

Some have very knowledgeable staff that have the experience to help you out a lot - some just have any old kind of sales clerk and they oversell to newcomers - overly prices stuff that is too advanced or is overly powered for most new vapers

Agreed. I wouldn't necessarily buy from them, but just go look around and see what they have. The shops around here have samples of most, if not all, of the flavors they sell so you can try before you buy, too. Then when you have an idea what you are looking for, buy the stuff online.

Ideally you want to stick with something you know you'll like.
As juice said, it may serve you well to find out what you've tried and look on the web.
If you can find a shop you KNOW you can TRUST, that can be an endless source of knowledge.
Keep in mind, almost every shop will cost more than online, but good knowledge is priceless, especially as you start your journey.

If you don't know what gear you tried think of it this way:

If you're trying to quit smoking only:
A pod system like the juul or a good all in one kit like the innokin t20 would be a nice starting point to get you off smokes

If you're looking to quit smoking and start down the path of hobby vapor.
I would look at something like the aspire Nautilus for a tank (tried and true tank for smokers) and a nice single 18650 mod like the pico 75 with that you'll want 2 18650s and a charger.

If you're looking to get into clouds bro clouds, a nice 200w starter kit would be nice. I don't know much about what's on the market there but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable here can advise you.

It's best to figure out what you want your device to do for you before you buy it

Very good point Uncle

We all need to start somewhere.

Different language and terminology to start with

Lots and Lots of stuff to learn and the old generation needs to teach the new generation.

And IMHO this is the best place to share and learn!

Let's see if you want a easy box mod to use I'd suggest the SMOK Procolor, but me personally i would go with the Smoant Charon, or even the Voopoo Drag but with those two you have to pick out your own atomizer, unless there is a starter kit that i don't know of, if you go with one of those two i would definitely suggest a sub ohm tank first. As for juices that's all preference to what you think you'll like, but i think you can't go wrong with Yami Vapor's juices. Element Vape usually have the best prices online.

A nice sub ohm tank

Hi and Welcome-
Maybe a good start would be an All-in-One (AIO) kit
These have internal batteries, so you don't have to worry about buying approved and recommended external 18650 batteries and a charger.
A good AIO is the Joyetech Penguin- this is a great start - affordable ( I suggest you buy 2),very light weight, no leaking, 8 ml tank, long lasting coils and vapes great! This kit has everything except the eliquid!
I suggest you get the newer Penguin as it is showing the juice level window, that the 1st version doesn't have- very important to watch your juice level as too low will burn out the coil.

EightVape is a great online vendor- quick shipper and good with customer service.
Best of luck!

In my humble opinion, think you might do well getting a Kroma the company that makes them has been making quite stable kits for a while now. This kit appears to allow you to choose other tanks or RDA later on once you've gotten a feel for what you want to vape. Innokin backs up their product lines well, offering you decent premade coils you can plug in and enjoy vaping. For starting out the kit looks to be a very nice one with some great features.

I also like the idea of going with an All In One kit to start out. What I saw of them seemed geared a bit more for advanced vapers. A beginner doesn't need burdening with diving into the ice-cold waters to learn to swim. The kit I'm suggesting seems to let you come into the waters and get used to floating at first, then you can start swimming along as you learn and grow as a vaper. :)
