If you vape electronic cigarettes daily then you may be eligible for a research study designed to look at the influence of flavorings on the rewarding properties of electronic cigarettes. To participate you must: · Be 18 – 50 years of age · Have a preference for 1 of the following flavors: tobacco flavor, menthol flavor, or berry flavor · Vape nicotine solution · Smoke no more than 5 tobacco cigarettes per week The research study involves five study visits (60 – 90 minutes each) over a two month period of time. No experimental drugs or devices are involved. Participants will vape electronic cigarettes in a laboratory protocol designed to look at the rewarding effects of electronic cigarette flavorings. Eligible participants may receive up to $500 monetary compensation. This research study is directed by Susan Girdler, Ph.D., Professor, UNC Department of Psychiatry.
