just build my first RDA , have some questions, help please!

First I apologize for my English, I am not a native speaker.
Just build my first RDA, picture attached, it has been read as 0.3 ohm, mod is regulated Smok Alien 220w, dual 18650 battery, vape with 70W.
I used to vape on tank, 5,6 continuous vape only make tank warm, I am not saying the vape production, I mean tank itself. But 5,6 continuous vape on this Goon RDA, vape production is just fine but RDA it self got hot, also mod, it is so hot that I have to wait for a while to let it cool. Is this common? Or I am building wrong coil?
I have been learning Ohm law and vaping safety for a while, watched lots of videos, 70 suppose to be ok for 0.3 right, why it make mod so hot?

I might also try around 60 watts for .3. I stay in the 65-70 range for like low .2 area. Other than that, listen to the guys above.

From what I can tell your using Dual Clapton's.

Try a different Dual build on your RDA. A simple round wire Dual build. Kanthal or SS316l wire type. See what happens.

Agreed. Might try about half of what is now used to wick. The coils need good air flow.
