Hello All,
(Sorry for the long post, just trying to give everyone credit where it's due)
So I pulled the trigger on a Sigelei 100 watt Plus this afternoon after getting tired of constantly checking the daily deals on VJ and other vaping sites and waiting for the iStick 50 Watt to be released (soon, I know). I got a great deal from Elev8vape.com, using their 15% off promo “jan15” if anyone is interested - $76 shipped.
Anyway, I know that some of you have suggested good batteries and chargers for me in other posts.
From another post, Mossyvapes said that “I cannot stress enough about battery safety”. That being said, I will be using it to sub-ohm, mostly for my Subtank 0.5 ohm coil and possibly will get into building my own coils or using the supplied Subtank RBA and who knows, maybe some other RDA / RBA down the road and new tanks like the Delta 2.
Having said that, I need to buy some 18650 batteries and a good charger ASAP, my Segelei has already shipped!!! (So excited!!!)
I know nothing about batteries, continuous drain, pulse limit, etc. The very little that I have learned in the past 3 weeks is that you have to buy good (name brand, non-clone batteries) and a good charger.
Please help me decide on batteries and chargers, again, from your previous posts, I have the following:
Buy from: RTD Vapor - Lightening Vapes – Efest 35A 18650 from myvaporstore.com, MXJO 35A 18650 from amazon.com(thanks 4King)
Also, courtesy of madmonkey:
“The LG HE2 has like a 35 amp pulse limit for example but is only a 20 amp continuous drain battery. The Samsung 25R (admittedly one of my favorites) is advertised as a 20 amp battery and is a 20 amp continuous drain battery with a pulse limit of 100 amps.“ Again, I have no idea what this means.

As always, a BIG THANK YOU to the VU community for your help and suggestions. If you guys have any other suggestions, please let me know. I want to order the batteries & charger tonight so that they ship tomorrow and I have them by the end of the week.
So excited to be upgrading from the measly MVP 11 watt that I’ve been using with my Subtank the last 2 weeks.
Thanks again,
