Kept installed coil for some time

Hi, is it ok to keep atomizer for a long time? 1week? 1month? While the coil and wick is still installed. And when i pick them again, can i just rewick and use the coil ? Or do i have to change coil as well?

I have 1 kayfun tank with a 18 month old build including wick...has been dry burned and washed several times. But the silica wick and SS not changed.

Coil in my Hobo 2 on my cReo is over a year old.... but wicked with cotton so has been re wicked many times.

I generally get 2 to 3 days of vaping with cotton. Never have had a coil wear out since I started vaping in 2014.... have damaged a few during setup or maintenance. But never a failure from use.

If you know it's gonna sit, just clean it and dry burn the coil a little. At least that's what I do, but I'm new.
