"The single largest contributor to health care costs, tobacco." FALSE

The single largest contributor to health care costs, IS SMOKING

E-cigarettes and Vaping is the ANTIDOTE to Smoking

Richard Hurt should be ashamed to be trying to block the single most effective method of smoking cessation of all time which is Vaping.

Whenever you can switch smokers from the most deadly tobacco product to a product that doesn't burn anything and doesn't even contain tobacco along with the fact that even after accounting for the unknown harms of vaping it is more than 95% safer than smoking that should be considered a public health win.

Also when teens experiment with vaping with over 60% choosing to not even using nicotine when the smoking rate plummets to the lowest in history at the same time that should be considered a public health win.

Teens seem to be experimenting with vaping with 0.2% going on to be daily vapers and if my tobacco control propaganda and scaremongering is correct 80% of teens who try cigarettes go on to a lifelong addiction to smoking.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which is the better choice if these teens were going to try smoking if vaping didn't exist which seems to be the case.

But these public health nut jobs are so stuck on their quit or die ideology and have moved the goal posts from smoking control to tobacco control to nicotine control.

Maybe they should look into harm reduction which has worked for drug addicts, teen sex, seat belts in cars, and helmets on motorcycles, etc...

It seems to have worked in every case in history when implemented.
