A while back I got a M11 14500 mechanical mod
Found that button top unprotected cells were too long, even flat top wouldn't work..the body of the tube was cut approx 2mm (approx 1/8") too short, screwed together the short body left a small gap between the top cap and the bottom firing button cap
I opened a ticket and posted in the discussion forum there
Low and behold the NEW IMPROVED M11 series hit the street!
It if for a 14650, but there are those types of batteries out there
