specifically interested in the sleek SS satin version myself, but any pics/info will do. especially the button and how it works.

The button uses 6 opposing magnets, fit every 120 degrees, 3 per button, 3 per lock ring. Short turn, with slots and tabs to lock and unlock. Here's a good, disassembled button shot from a French forum... and if you've not seen it, the MM PDF "manual". As magnets are not used for the battery contact, there are no magnet plating conductivity issues.
