True.Yeah, another Human showed me his Mutation RTA and raved about it so I scratched the shiny-itis itch and the lil biotch is on the way. I'm a sucker for shiny shit. This Human claimed to be fitting 3mm ID coils into this rascal. True?
Watch the video at vapordna. http://www.vapordna.com/Project-Sub-Ohm-Edition-Mutation-X-MT-RTA-p/psomxr.htmGot two of these. However, just one is in use. My wicking isn't perfect yet, due to slight leaking when re-filling.
I did, even before I bought it.Watch the video at vapordna. http://www.vapordna.com/Project-Sub-Ohm-Edition-Mutation-X-MT-RTA-p/psomxr.htm
BTW, what is the ID of your coils? I'm currently using 3 mm.I wick mine and it doesn't leak a drop. Now, when I first bought it, it leaked like crazy. But, they didn't tighten the 510 pin screw that holds the positive T post. I tightened it, and no more leaks.
I'm running 2.5 mm parallel 24g KA1 7 wraps, .15 ohmsBTW, what is the ID of your coils? I'm currently using 3 mm.
510 clipping the wire? The 510 is usually the connections between the atomizer and the mod. However, if you're talking about the fastening screws cutting the wire, you can smoothen the edges, by either sand paper, and/or file.0.19ohm twisted 26gk on a 2.4mm screwdriver. I was having trouble with the ohms jumping around until I adjusted the 510. It was clipping the leads on 28th ni200. Any suggestions how to prevent that? Works great with a thicker gauge wire though.

There are no pre-made coils...it's an RTA ONLY...I got the mutank it's a beast in rebuild mode I got dual 22ga 5 wrap on 2.5mm rod ohms out to .19 not a dry hit yet at 100 watts, wicking for me is gonna be a learning experience I get leaks when filling up I have not tried the pre-made coils yet but the RBA is killer it's so much vape I've been coughing like crazy, I love it lol

Oh that one. Heard about it, but rebuildable decks are my thing.its the newer one the mutank it's both the even have Clapton and twisted coil heads avaliable

it comes with the same type of rebuild deck that comes with the mtOh that one. Heard about it, but rebuildable decks are my thing.
Nice. I just don't do pre-made coils so there is no point in me getting one. My next purchase is a VCMT by Vaperz Cloud.it comes with the same type of rebuild deck that comes with the mt

That tank does look badass! I'm giving it some serious consideration even with a bit higher price. As far as this Mutation Tank. I think for their first go at an actual RTA its pretty good. I really dislike the post screws and every other refill it seems like it likes to leak pretty unpleasantly even with the air flow closed off. For me its a stay at home tank more than anything, I do like it, but I'm not exactly in love with it. My first build went very smoothly then I tried to use one of my own screwdrivers with a new build and shredded 2 of the post screwsNice. I just don't do pre-made coils so there is no point in me getting one. My next purchase is a VCMT by Vaperz Cloud.
From what I've seen the main objective is to make sure the juice channels are blocked off pretty solidly so juice can't flow behind the wicking & make it's way into the center area of the deck too much. Packing it in towards the back of the channel should take care of it, still leaving some fluff in the wick. That should help with leak issues.Got two of these. However, just one is in use. My wicking isn't perfect yet, due to slight leaking when re-filling.
Good point, kinda looked over the point about the coil size. I agree that 3mm coils do give the ability to use enough cotton. If you stuff and tuck it like a dripper, it should be fine. Can't really over wick this. I don't do fancy coils, so I can do regular ss wraps at 3mm and that's enough cotton to stop leak period. With 3mm coils, I feel I can refill it with the airflow open.
Good deal. I wicked just like I wick the mutation X v4 rda and no leaksOkay fellas more cotton tucked into channels solved leaking thanks

Your suggestion is good, how about this? Close the air flow completely while filling, and open the air flow after filling, then put it aside for several minutes. It will not leak.Looking for your comments lolWhen I've had leak issues on other tanks the first thing I would try is to close the air flow completely while filling and after I have it filled I then turn it upside down before opening the air flow. Actually made that my normal procedure now. Also allows make sure to leave a small air gap in the tank when filling. (Sure you're already doing that tho)
Does it leak just at the first or leaks some continually?
