Need help with coil setting?

Hi all!
I am VERY new to vaping and, to be honest, don't know what most of the setting means.

I'm using a SMOK alien, the tank it came with (TFV8 baby I believe..), and the coil is comes with pre-installed.

I'm using it on WATT mode and was pressing the fire button and without realizing and switched a setting! It always said "N" beside my wattage and it now says "S".

What my question is, is what does this setting mean? and is it dangerous to have it on the wrong setting? How do I change it back?

Hi Grace! That "S" stands for "soft" where the "N" is "normal" there is also an "H" setting for "hard" all that is, really, is just a hit control. It won't hurt anything at all.
