Need advice,
I just ordered some DIY supplies, This is my second attempt at this, my first one a couple of years ago was an epic fail!
These are the flavors I ordered:
Azure

Banana Nut Bread
Buttercream Cupcake
Rootbeer Float
Blueberry Cotton Candy
Ethyl Maltol crystals

TFA

Bubblegum
Honeydew
Watermelon
Mango
Peach
Apple Pie
Cinnamon danish
Peppermint

Throw some ideas/recipes at me people!
I do have a really cheap ultrasonic cleaner..how exactly do I use it for steeping? Remember I'm semi-clueless about this stuff.
Oh I do have e-juice me up downloaded on my computer :)

Thanks in advance!

first.. good to see you post.. ;)
you aren't totally clueless.. so that is a good start..
good you have a calculator.. always a right start..

now, do you know your nic levels and your pg/vg ratios?

you will need to hook those em crystals up.. i normally use vg.. but they will disolve faster in pg..
normal ratio: 1/4-1/2 per bottle.. fill the rest up with your pg.. and shake the bottle till disolved..
could use a cup with warm water to help it..

i dont use a ultra sonic so maybe someone else can help you there..

best advice on the flavors:

try them one at a time.. different percentages till you like the taste and vape./.
from there, you can find all sorts of recipes here and elsewhere to make small 2 flavors and work your way up..

there is a chart floating around on the tfa flavors for recommended percentages, do a search :)

good luck!

Try 10% Apple Pie and 5% Cinnamon Danish for a starting point.

Cinnamon Danish at 7-10% as a single flavor is pretty good too IMO.

No experience with Azure flavors, never even heard of them.

all you have to do is tell the calculator what you have and what you want it cut down to..

then like I said, experiment.. pick a single flavor.. say from the tfa you have..
find your percentage and put that in the calculator..

hope you have syringes..

that way you can measure things out and taste..
once you get the hang of it.. add a second flavor :)

yep ordered a kit from onestop so got all that :)...I guess my problem is knowing what % of flavors to use...

You can find starting recipes at http://www.e-liquid-recipes.com

Also, use this search page http://vapingunderground.com/search/?type=post and punch in one of your flavors and set the DIY section as your search forum, then click the box to display the results as threads instead of posts.

As for the Azure/Blue Mist, you'll have to use the percentages for other brands as a sort of guide, probably err on the low side because each vendor's flavoring strength can be very different from another...

Aw, sorry to hear that Smoky. I've had that saved in my files for a while, now, lol. I do hope you get to feeling better. At least enough to get coffee! I'd flip out over that alone.

OK, I see...

I think it was mentioned somewhere here that even TPA/TFA doesn't actually make their own flavors in house...
So many vendors into this stuff now it's harder to help people when they ask about flavors from X, Y, or Z brands, lol.
It's hard to tell where the original source of anything comes from anymore.

it is, Heabob.. once you have been around for a while, tho, it's easier to keep track of things..
the main players will always be noticed :)
