I just built my first dual coil rta in the limitless xl. gotta say... there is no flavor.. think the chimney is way too big on this tank. Any suggestions on a first rda that would be easy to build on? Only know sub ohm and now an rta.

Did you make your own coils or use the prebuilt that it came with?

Missing shit loads of details, basically you're calling a Mechanic saying your car is broke asking what's wrong with it.

If you want help you need to provide details, like to start with
    Pictures
    What type of coil?
    What type of Wire?
    What brand of Wire?
    What Ohms?
    What's your Wicking material
    etc
    etc
    etc

No I actually took the premade out. Built a dual 24g macro deal. 10 wraps came out to .556 ohms. Wanted a lower watt vape. They are actually my first ever build...

As for the calling a mechanic rant, I wasn't asking for an opinion on my build I was more inquiring to see if anybody had worked with the XL dual deck and come up with any good ideas. Apologies for not being thorough enough.

Well if you want help you need to provide details, can't recommend shit with just "there is no flavor".

Try using the 510 drip tip adapter that comes with it and closing off your airflow a bit. What wattage are you at? What type of wick do you use? Also was it lower wattage you were lookin for or lower ohms?

I like lower wattage vape. I know more is better just figured I'd ask with so many different ways to build coils. I wicked with cottonbacon. And I just replaced the drip tip. Gonna try the air flow too. Thank you.

Higher wattage isn't necessarily better. I'm also thinking that your ramp up on that built would be awhile. Maybe some one here can confirm that swing as how I'm pretty new to building myself. Do you have any other gauge wire?

Ya ramp up is pretty unsure. I did a 3.5mm 24g wrap and it's a little more than 1 sec to fire. I did get some info as far as diameter goes. I used the steam engine calc. And the smaller the diameter on this wire the better for ramping. But brings the ohms down unless I do like 30 wraps lol.not the biggest deck so that won't work. I'm working on getting more wire. Gonna buy a kit on Amazon like 22, 24, 26 and so on 100ft of each

keep your coils up high so the air comes in underneath them, helps tremendously with flavor

I am confused... you say you want/desire lower wattage but are using 24 awg wire. 10 wraps at that.... try taking away 4 wraps of each coil make em spaced good, and to go more with the lower wattage increase gauge of wire try stepping up to 26.. you may desire vaping at lower watts but if your coil is needing more to be good then you are essentially wanting in one hand while the other is filling up pretty fast with....

Like I said I am new to this. It's the wire that came in the coil master kit lol. Are u saying a spaced coil would be a better match as far as a lower wattage build. I plan on experimenting just haven't gotten my hands on other gauge wire yet.

I prefer them, you dont know til you know if you too would like them. You could take 4 wraps away from your 10 wrap coil and make the 6 wrap coil just as long as the 10 by spacing. For me i like spacing for many reasons one is the juice being held between each loop within the wick also for me i feel more surface area is given for better vapor production. You gotta look at it like this also whether you like contact coils or spaced coils... more mass will require more wattage... thicker wire of same build style coil will require more wattage to heat because of its increased mass... which is why i suggested going up to 26 (this is my personal bread and butter size of wire) To each their own but 10 wraps of 24 awg wire is way more mass than 6 wraps of 26 awg wire... even if the 24 awg was only 6 wraps.... You have some playing to do to figure out what you like. It took me a whle to find my fav coil, and since then i use the same coil build for everything i do :D You will get there but be ready to step out of your comfort zone you may like what you find, and you may find that you were already at your best possible answer :D

The more tools in your tool box the better. I say play around and find what works best for you. Youtube will help you get the understanding and basics down for sure.

Are you using a mech???? Then you might need smaller wire to build for less watts.... with a regulated mod you can make a smaller coil to vape at lower watts.. smaller might mean lower ohm...

When you went from 6 wraps of 25 to 10 wraps of 24. You made a higher ohm coil that is almost 2x bigger than the first... Granted it will produce less watts on a mech. But to will require more wattage than the smaller 6 wrap coil to heat up the extra metal.
