So i got a orchid clone the other day and no matter what i do it has a bad taste. the taste is pretty consistent, its not a burnt cotton taste. i tried boiling the atomizer and no change. put in a new build with different wire and different resistance. tried multiple different cotton balls. ive used the cotton in a dripper and it was fine. tried to fire up the orchid like a dripper and still get the taste. im at a loss. im open for ideas if anyone has any

I had the same problem with my stillare clone. God it took like 5 good cleanings to get right. But yeah vodka was my solution in the end.

i boiled my stillare clone and it was good. ive boiled and soaked in alcohol 3 times so far. guess im going to keep giving it an alcohol bath nightly until i can get the taste out.

Might also want to try squirting some through the air passages and/or pulling the center pin as well, I've had some that needed some serious cleaning to get the taste out. Good luck.
