Perhaps you have a point, but usualy the only people who have something to say about a store is those who have a bad experience. You rarely hear about the good experiences or the satisfied customers
They are my local shop. Do I think they are the greatest shop ever? NO? DO they have plenty of room to improve? YES but don't we all. Have they pissed me off several times? YES!!! Have they made me very happy several times?? Yes!!! DO they have the lowest prices? NO. DO they have reasonable prices? Yes.
There are worst Vape shops out there, one of them is in the same town as MaddCattVapors.
They have hundreds upon hundreds of loyal local customers who shop there daily.
I believe most of their sales come form in store sales not online.
If I were to judge them by the website and how little it is updated and so forth, I would say they are only online because its expected of them.
I believe their primary focus is their 2 stores.
If i read the OP correctly about this Jess, who I have never seen in the shop went and did this contest and did not follow through properly and its not really the store itself screwing up.
The screw up of the store is not making sure Jess followed through while using the store's name.

SO i check the new posts, read some entertaining and informative stuff. I stay informed about new products.
But it drives me nutz how fast many members of this community are so ready to JUMP ON the "lets BASH this Business or person Bandwagon", the second something negative is said about them. earlier this week is was 5P and they may deserve it, now its MaddCatts. Hell even Whiskey was getting shit for saying something about the 5P situation in another thread.
Did MaddCatts screw up on this contest? It sure sounds like it. instead of "hey heres your last chance to save your reputation" threats and "well unless MCV posts here and has a good reason Im not buying there".(Have you ever been to their website and considered buying from them?)
How about a polite message to them

Could you please address this situation as soon as possible and let me know if I will ever get my prize. If you can not give me the actual prize, could you offer an alternative

and give them a fucking chance to respond before everyone just jumps on the bashing and threats.
To me it sounds like the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing over there in terms of this contest.SO as I said CALL THEM, they are all really nice folks over there. I would be as frustrated as you over this. Based on everything I have ever seen with these guys, this is not the normal business practices for MCV.
Now Just to make it clear, yes MCV is in my town, I shop there somedays, I do not work for them, I have been pissed off at them some days and been very happy there some days. I am not a flunky who is just trying to defend them. I am trying to show that businesses are run by people, none of us are perfect. SHIT HAPPENS, and I do not like the way some people just start bashing a company for a mistake and neglect all the wonderful things the company may have done.
