Provari banned on eBay now.

I bought a couple of used Provari Minis on eBay a couple months ago, and I notice there have been quite a few for sale since then...until today.
Good luck finding a Provari on eBay anymore. A couple slipped through but will likely disappear soon.

Perhaps they slipped up with the description and said too much about vaping.

eBay is anti-vaping, anti-ecig. They are just losing out on a lot of profit due to political pressure from tax and spend politicians and big tobacco.

Really? I didnt know that, thanks...

Actually I was selling a Provari (decided to keep it before it was removed) and received this message:

"The type of item you listed is made by a company that markets themselves (either currently, or in the past) as an electronic cigarette manufacturer. Consequently, eBay does not allow any products from that company to be sold on our site. While we appreciate that you have chosen to utilize our site, we must ask that you please not relist in this case."

Interesting that Provari was singled out, as more obvious vape supplies are still going strong.

Pretty sure it is just about liability...

To some point I agree with the liability issue, but ebay sells a lot of crap including chemicals.

Ebay is just being PC. Plus it also depends how you word your description on items you are trying to sell.

I sell on Ebay quite a bit and they do in fact have filtering software in place that looks for key words and phrases in posts. I'm really not sure if it's PC, liability or just plan stupidity! I mean you can buy or sell anything on Ebay if you know how to list it!

Exactly see our system depends on KNOWING it will kill you, and the millions spent in TAX dollars paying some ass hats to TEST a product, food or drug; it's called perpetual stupidity through government!

Well the govt. spends 30% or more of our paychecks so they can pay someone handsomely to actually test that GM altered chicken being fed GMO corn that you eating it will cause you to grow female breasts in 100 years, so seeing as the average life span is much lower than that and you'll die sooner...ah it's safe!

But "if we haven't studied that" , "Oh no you can't do that"! it's all about control and them playing big brother, and the sheep citizens that want that!

The fact is vaping e-liguids made in the US or DIY are 9 gazillion times safer than combusting any tobacco product!

Now don't get me wrong there are some things the FDA is good for, but the enforcement division is pretty well lax and slacking, and we all know what govt. regulations on purity and safety mean to all of us...more money out of our pockets, and a black markets of literally shit quality, even harmful products!

I mean look at the US Pharmaceutical regulations; while some are good, the vast majority of the regulations are there to benefit special interest groups and line the pockets of the politicians who helped to pass or enact certain regulations on the drugs!

Many drugs if obtained from the same manufacturers from their foreign counterparts are just as good in quality, but cost 60% or more less!

Viagra made by Pfizer, if obtained outside of the US, made by Pfizer is 60% less per pill than the same drug approved for market in the US!

The problem is that Bozo Bait and Drug in Flung Poo China is making clone packaging and pills that contain drywall as filler and contain no sildenafil citrate!

"For an erection lasting longer than 4 hours seek medical attention"...pffff!

Nah...I gonna seek my wife, girl friend and any one needing serviced as long as it lasts! LMAO!

Actually I think I'm gonna sue Pfizer, I've never had "anything" last more than 4 hours! LOL

Enivromental, food and drug,building...most of these regulations are pay to play schemes in the third world they call it bakeesh or payoff, but in america it's called "regulations"...unfortunately our population are as mindless as the characters in a brave new world or 1984....there is this unquestioning devotion to big brother..this belief the goverment's motives are for the welfare of the people...despite moutains of proof to the contrary....in fact to even question the motives of the state is enough to have you tarred as a dangerous lunatic....I remember reading something from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, where he said in the ex-USSR nobody went to prison for politcal dissent.they went to prison for being menatlly ill.to protect the public from them.

I see a few Provaris slipping through, but there used to be dozens of them for sale.
About a month ago I suggested that Provari design a DNA40 unit.
There are no DNA40 cylindrical mods on the market.
Topic key words:
"Provari"
"eBay"

Actually there was!

Tatroe mods had one, it seems they are no longer on the net?

I just did a search for them and POOF!

They made some really nice stuff too! Bummer!

They made a ton of Provari add ons, now it makes sense; CigTech has a massive clearance of Tatroe a few months ago, only stating they were no longer going to be carrying their (Tatroe) line.

In a way it makes sense, they were an American company and there was no way they could be competitive any longer it seems!

I sent an inquiry to Cigtech and asked, when I hear back, I'll post a follow up~

Provape would probably want to use their own board rather than out sourcing.

Mark Bugs should have a dna40 tube mod out before long. I would like to have one retro fitted into my 30 but I have seen where they are a bitch to get in due to the slight difference in the two board sizes.

That really sucks. I have a Big Nasty 26650 Mech from Tatroe, just love it. That 26650 lasts a long time with a dripper.

A yup I got confirmation from Cigtechs this afternoon that Tatroe Mods is no more!

They were loosing so much money and had to revert back to their CNC machining primary business.

Really a shame!

Is it really worth buying Chinese when you can buy American?

We are killing ourselves, granted a lot of what is said to be American made may not be, but most is...in the vaping business it's a very hard call because of greed!

Even some of the "so called" American made stuff is actually made in China!

I wanted their DNA 40 26650 cylindrical mod and I cannot remember what it was called, but it was the big brother to the Big Nasty, truly a fine piece of workmanship, and it was only like $189.00!

Buy American, Support our Great Land when you can, you just might save a persons job!

... I buy whatever seems to be what will serve me best, and until Americans can go bank to cutting edge ill stick with whoever does.
Evolv was top of the pack, and putting the dna40 next to the sx350j well the sx350j actually works in TL mode.
Now American made hardware like the marquis, or tugboats... sure, as long as the quality and finis is there, ill buy it.

I bought a Darwin when they first came out, it was ground breaking to have such a small a powerful (for the time) rechargeable mod. Evolv has been slow to respond to the market and has botched a few production runs with the DNA40 and the screen issues. They recently added a lock function for wattage that their competitors had for over a year.

Yeah and that reruns of the dna 40 is what pushed this once loyal customer into an ardent wont buy from again.
They did, to my knowledge 5 firmware upgrades it have a Mod with each, to get the new firmware would mean swapping out the chip or buying a mew mod. Now the 5th add yihi's atty lock I'm not buying another damn mod, I got two of them 20days before they released It. its only alot fucked up to pay that much money for something only to have it rendered obsolete 2weeks later.
Ye the competition I dont have t do anything other than hook up to a vapor version of iTunes and walla !
And this is from a previous ardent defender am evolve fanboy .
They make me feel like a dirty used vaporslut

When the DNA20 came out, I got one, same with the DNA30. I used a buddies DNA40 Vaporshark for a few days and was not impressed at all. The screen scrambled, of course Evolv's solution was to take the battery out to reset the board. I really did believe in them and support them up to the DNA40 which was a bit late in the game when you could go out and get a Sigelei 150w box mod for under $100. Even Shillsardo blasted them on the DNA40. Evolv's cardinal sin was to try to dictate the technology of the market, open markets tend to bypass manufacturers who do that. IBM used to own the PC market, then smaller and hungrier companies made PC's and the rest is history. IBM sold off their PC biz - to the Chinese (Lenovo).

If Evolv made a DNA75 Temp control board that was accurate, they would still be a day late and a dollar short. The SX350J can do over 100 watts with batteries in series. But it's not all about the watts, its about having a product that does what it claims to do. Once again, Evolv falls a bit short on that area.

Believe me I know I have 6 vaporsharks and a DIY all DNA 40
About to have a garage sale
I was using provari when the dna30 came out, got a shark and was blown away, was a fanboy since then,
The 40 is simply a case of brilliance, conceptually. but total short sightedness and laziness in the execution

350j is without a doubt borrowed concepts with brilliant execution. which is all i really care about, I use the execution not the concept.
Hell even apple borrowed everything

Gawd where to start!

Well said both of you!

I have been an fan of Provari until the DNA 30' , my ZNA' totally blew away my Provari', and I was never impressed with the P3'

I too watched and listened to ALL the horror stories, but being and old mech dOOd, it really hadn't been too much of a disappointment, I mean after all we as far as electronics have seemed to always be a day late and a dollar short when it came to competing with Japan or China!

I have several genuine RTA', RDA' from America, and Europe, great stuff, even 4 Puresmoker mechs still laying around, but after the DNA 30 we fell asleep at the wheel and haven't woke up yet!

Sure the new Evolv chip sets are stable, but now there are less expensive competitors that never missed a lick, and do what they say they do!

The Hcigar VT 40 and HB 40' both have a great price point if gotten from the right seller, they are in fact built like brick shit houses, very well made and heavy duty housings, but both are single battery and have the 40 watt limits, so they're not an easy sale when you compare them to the other chips out there.

My son cannot keep the IPV4' in stock, he sells them as fast as he gets them, and no matter what the Hcigar DNA boxes are not selling, even at what he is selling them at, people are gun shy and rightfully so!

At least the VT 40 has a 1 year warranty, but still he hasn't had the interest in them like you would think....people remember getting fucked!

I mean just now Provape has finally released firmware so that steel suppository of mine will fire a .5Ω atty, am I impressed, no!

Not for almost $200.00 when they first came out! And they still won't go over 20 watts and that is unacceptable, especially for the price!

I mean at least the DNA 30 would fire anything!

We are just a bunch of douche bags when it comes to electronics...what can you say!

I love me y Reo's, put a battery in it, fill it with juice and whoo hoo away we go, simple and it works, damn reminds me of a true mech!

I mean carburetors are a whole more dependable than fuel injection! Easier to fix too!

I wont do a redo... unless they out a regulated verso again. I want a bfmod, but I want regulated, I tried a redo for a day and was getting zero battery life for my vape style.
And I refuse to pay over 200$ for a mod, taking the bf DNAs sx350s out of my price point,
Between my current inventory it has to be special for me to buy another mod anyway. now I'm looking at the Cisco and dino rda, 'velocity'

How about's I get ya' a couple at cost...LOL

83.00 for the HB 40 , 95.00 for the VT 40 Wide Scream....LOL

He can't sell them that cheap but he doesn't rip people a new one either... about 100.00 on the HB and 120 or 30 on the VT...pretty damn reasonable...IMHO

If you want a Made in USA Hana Modz DNA40, the S.I. (slight imperfection) mod will save you about $30...
I have one. The S.I. is merely a slight scratch.
