I couldn't wait for a reply. I started with a twisted coil of 30 ga Kanthol, 2mm allen key, 5 wraps @ + - 7 ohms. Not too low but I would prefer a little more higher resistance. For a comfortable piece of mind. So i changed my build several days later to the same 30 ga but added a pure nickel non res wire to the mix. Same gauge, 7 wraps. It dropped in resistance to almost 2 ohms. A little beyond my comfort zone. I'm hitting these builds on a Phimis tri coil atty on an authentic Hades clone. Both of these builds hit better then expected but just I'm just not comfortable within this low ohm range. Any input from a more experienced builder on why my ohms changed so much would be greatly appreciated. One other note. I'm using a Fluke to check my ohms. Touching leads yeilds a 2 ohm resistance. Do i add this when measuring my atty ? Atty measures .5 ohms, +2 from the meter would give me about .7 ohms......right ?
