RDA cap fell down the stairs

So i was dripping on the stairs and my RDA tip fell down and it bent, and now it can't fit on my RDA, any suggestions on how to fix? I haven't tried anything cause I'm too scared to scratch or break the tip.

Should we try to heat it up before hand so it would be easier to bend back?

I would use something tapered the size of the opening and use that to gently press it in and reshape the hole.

I tried but it's made of thick metal so it's very hard to just reshape the hole

Heating it like you said may work better then. I'd try the plyers and rag too. Can't hurt

Using pliers is going to warp the round hole worse then it is already. Get your socket set out and try to find a socket that fits the hole as close as you can. If you do not use something to retain a round shape you will wind up with an egg shaped or an octagon by the time you are done.
