Hi Knucklebutts.
Just checking in. Still here, just not feeling very froggy.
Baby boy (C-section) is coming in 12 days
At the 37 week checkup, baby measured the size of a 39 week old....huge head, duh, also feet almost as wide as long. We're all sooooo ready!!
Rats are great pets. However, we ended with the wild types in our home. I don't know if they have moved on to happier and safer dwellings since I haven't seen/heard one in quite awhile now. They were very unsettling and I am not a happy camper with them scampering around. We bought Rat Traps. They are very large and the spring is very sturdy....in other words, watch out for your fingers. There is a ditch or whatever they want to call it that provides water to some of the homes in this area. It is great for watering the yards...we are not on the ditchline but only one home removed. Apparently the critters decided to check out our hospitality.Speaking of belly buttons, apparently rats are ticklish and LOVE being tickled. Not only do they giggle, they will chase your hands around begging for more tickles!
The things you learn about on talk radio
Awwww, looks a bit like the Lady dog! Such a sweetie.

Reminds me of when I woke up for high school one morning, got up, stumbled across the room to turn on the light... I turned around after hitting the switch and locked eyes with a gardener snake. Nowhere near deadly but wasn't the best start to the day.Rats are great pets. However, we ended with the wild types in our home. I liked the snake(s) better...a lot better! That is another story all together and rather cute. I miss the lil guy. I would put him outside and he would come back and wait at the front door to be let in. I found myself talking to him and telling him that he had to find his very own home. He really was a cute lil feller.
We had a family of snakes living in our eaves. They were the lil green guys like yours. Not harmful and with the mice (no rats until this year) that try to come inside every year, I thought the snakes where just fine. They were pretty good mousers actually. The lil guy (or gal) that kept getting in the house caught at least one that I know of because I saw it trying to get outside with its prize. I am not frightened of snakes and this one had a great personality. Even mom became accustomed to the lil head popping out of the baseboard in the bathroom now and again. Once when I was vacuuming between the refrigerator and the cupboard, this snake followed the wand on my vacuum...wonder if he/she thought it was mommy and was trying to say hello. I put him/her outside that time too. Not that it seemed to make any difference. The day before my Dad and I had to extract a snake from my ceiling. I lived in the basement at the time and the walls and ceilings were styrofoam insulation. I heard rustling so I lifted my ceiling a bit and a little scaley head popped out...
I went upstairs and told my Dad
Me-"There's a snake in my ceiling."
Dad- "How do you know that?"
Me- "It looked at me..."
Dad-"Oh...umm let's go look"
Lmao I half expected a drug test instead of help when he looked at me after I said a snake was in my ceiling.
But I guess he knew I knew what a snake looked like. And we both knew it was a waste of a test hehe
Good luck with that. I haven't found a bed that doesn't hurt my back. We have the air bed and it has been great for a long time. Since I hurt my back, I can't find the right setting. I am interested to hear what you decide to get and how it works for you. ((((dogman)))) hoping you get your back pain under control.I have decided to buy a new bed.
With my back, it has come down to either new bed, or give up wearing pants. Which are increasingly difficult for the second leg.

Lol glow. Cheap bed for me. But one that is not worn out. I have a mattress protector as my only saviour from exposed springs. The base is someone's home project. I've been putting it off too long deciding mods are more needed.Good luck with that. I haven't found a bed that doesn't hurt my back. We have the air bed and it has been great for a long time. I thought about that, but we had my landlord look at it and I think he said it was the tie-rod, didn't ask if it was inner or outer. I wish there was a place where I could "borrow" the tire balancer, and figure it out myself. But after seeing what can happen when someone puts a tire on crooked (even ever so slightly) I understand why they don't want Joe Schmo coming in and wrecking a few thousand dollars worth of machine. We had a family of snakes living in our eaves. We have fox, skunks, raccoons and all sorts of wildlife around here. I live in the city but we have large lots (1 acre or so) and lots of folks keep horses and chickens. We also have lots of great birds. The flickers and the black and white wood peckers are fun to watch until the males start pecking on the metal flashing on the roof at about 0500 every morning. I read that this is a mating attention seeking thing but the attention they got was more like my nephew throwing stuff at them. It helped break him of his up all night and sleep all day pattern! Mom loved watching the animals and the trees blossom every spring. We even got a bird book and would try to identify our feathered friends. Those were good times. Glad I had the time to spend with her while she was still doing well.
I am verbose tonight. I think I need to go to bed!
The shimmy in your front end sounds like a tire balance issue. If that is true, the fix is pretty inexpensive. With the other symptoms, it does seem to be more involved but I would have the balance checked first. Dad and hubby taught me to always start with the easiest, most simple things first and eliminate them before spending a lot of money. I love good mechanics but I hate being taken by the jerks that think I don't know what I am doing or talking about. Just cause I am a woman? Think again, bucko! I have been taught by the best!
Gnight! Dont let the...glowbugs bite? LolGood night boofy knuckle butts. I am off to bed.
Morning knuckles hope all are well. Sorry for your loss doggy, glad you had a good birthday glowiest, snakes are ewwww, yay for big headed babies coming soon (with the perfect balance in foot size), hugs to everyone dealing with all the white bullshit falling...

The Westie persona[edit]
The term "westie" is often used to associate someone or something with a stereotype. This stereotype depicts people from the outer suburbs as unintelligent, undereducated, unmotivated, unrefined, lacking in fashion sense, working-class or unemployed. Clothing such as flannelette shirts, Ugg boots, leopard-print fabric, Adidas outfits with clear stripes, white singlets are associated with the stereotype, as are the "uniform" of black T-shirt and ripped jeans.[3]
