Reload S RTA Flavor Issue

I have reload S RTA single coil. I use Alien 3 mm coil. I have tried different methods of wicking it and different cotton. I changed the position if the coil to match the airflow. Still, the flavor is not strong enough as I had with Profile RDTA or Zeus X mesh. Any idea what might be the issue? Thank you in advance.

I almost got it when it came out. So I only have guesses.
Here's a couple:

Looks like he's got the coil high so the top row of side af must hit the side of the coil so it doesn't miss and just go up, and the rest of the af skirts the coil going up.
