Secret to the coil master tool?

I received my coil master today. Have been using Qvapes coiler previously. The coils that are coming out if the coil master are overlapping, more wheel shape than coil shape. Have watched a couple of videos, but haven't figured it out yet. Anyone got some advice? Thanks

Keep minimal pressure on the head as you turn it, just enough to keep it in place at the leading edge of the coil. Very light touch--let the coil move the head up as it is formed.

Make sure the screw is in the right place for your wire gauge and with minimal pressure turn the head to make your coil. And make sure you are using the right head as they can get mixed up real easy if you are not careful.

Thanks Otto and Uncle! Took about 8 tries, but finally got one acceptable. Actually it was perfect. Uncle, what do you mean by screw being in right place? Does that screwdriver that came with it have a purpose, that I haven't figured out yet?
