Anything less than .5 ohms is usually unsafe in a unregulated series mod.Try a 5/6 wrap dual coil of 24 gauge kanthal. That's my usual set up on my series box mod unregulated.

why do you need to vape at 235 watts? That's whats confusing to me.i just tried my regulated mod (rx200) at 235 watts with a twisted messes dripper and any hit i take longer than a second it tastes extremely burnt. i have a 24 gauge 7 wrap build ohming out to .32 ohms 3mm wrap...what am i doing wrong? yes i have 30 amp cells...can you just not go that high with a regulated device?
i cant figure out how you vape that i am very interested in that exact build as its only 1 less wrap then i usually do however if i crank my rx200s up to 235 watts any hit i take longer than 1 second it starts to taste burnt...got any tips ive been building for about a year now mostly on tanks however i just moved over to drippers but i cant hit the wattage your speaking of without a burnt hit...advice pleaseTry a 5/6 wrap dual coil of 24 gauge kanthal. well if you are using a regulated mod it's a lot different. there are protections built in. Also the internal wiring on the RX isn't made for that kind of amperage. Your mod is gonna get really hot itself. There are quite a few things wrong with what you are trying to do. I don't want to be a jerk about it, i just want you to stay safe. If you let me know what it is you are trying to accomplish then I can help you morei like kind of pushing it i like a hot vape not burned but hot i also just want to make sure i have all my builds down and know what wattage i can hit i probably wont usually vape that high i just would like to know how its done if at all possible

Ok i understand that, My next question was why get a mech mod and try to vape at 8.4 volts? Mech mods can be dangerous if you aren't sure of what you are doing, and copying someone else isn't being sure what to do. in short not safeok sorry about the confusion and double posts i cant figure out how to delete them...let me start over i just ordered a series mech mod and i was looking for some good builds and someone mentioned a 5-6 wrap dual 24 gauge coil which is what i use at 90-120 all day and he said he uses that build on a series mech mod and this build comes in at about 235 watts and i would like to know how exactly he is vaping this when it burns when i take over a 1 second hit so here i am trying stupid high wattages on my rx200s...ps my rx hasnt hit any protection features yet atleast that the screen displays
I'm not a long drawer. I usually only take 1 to 2 second puffs, airflow is somewhat key here. I will try and post a video of it, I even have guys at the Vape shop hit it and say it tastes good as well so I know it's just not me. you do realize it's less safe to hit at those wattage on a mech mod then a regulated mod?i got a mech mod so i could hit higher wattages i pretty much have ohms law down i know it wasnt really a safe thing to do on the rx200 i just kind of wanted to know how they were achieving such high wattages without things starting to burn i wasnt really taking long hits understandably so it was more like pulsing the button
the taste won't matter if it's regulated or not. 200 watts is 200 watts. It's the build/juice/wicking/RDA/and airflow that determine the flavor, not the modjust the man i was looking for so your saying that same build on a regulated mod burns at that wattage which is what i noticed if i take a hit longer then 1 second... if i try this build on the series mech mod i should be safe with 30 amp cells right? and why do you think it tastes like crap on a regulated mod as opposed to a mech mod with freshly charged batteries?

I still don't understand why you need 200+ watts, I can fill up a room in vapor in seconds building for 65-100 watts.
same here 120 just isnt hitting like it used to i also like a warm vape however why do you think you cant hit that wattage on a reg drvice?I like a pretty warm vape which is why I build around a .3, don't build this low on a series unless you have good batteries!! I just don't feel satisfied with a cooler vape

LG HB6 batteries are the highest amp limit out there, they just have a short battery life

In a standard 22mm RDA, I think 175w is generally pushing the limits. That's my experience, anyway. To go much higher than that, you need more space and more airflow to accommodate much more coil. 200w of power translates to more heat energy than most atties can tolerate. Size of the coil is really kind of irrelevant, here. In terms of pure heat energy (NOT temperature,) the implications are the same whether you have a small coil or a large one. Once that heat leaves the coil, it has to go somewhere. Depends. I can get instant ramp up on a single fused Clapton in an aeronaut at 65 watts. Nice warm vape and good flavor. Flavor is a combo of the RDA/ airflow/ build/ wick/ and juice.How is the flavor in a single coil vs dual? I've never built a single coil in an rda before.
try a 14 wrap 24 gauge it comes out to around .6Something I need to try it sounds, I've honestly never built anything above a .5 before. So our thought process is reversed as I'm used to low ohm and your used to a little higher than me. I would love to figure out a nice build that's not as low with good flavor, warm and fast ramp up.
