Hey everyone, I have some general questions just about vaping and what to get myself. My friends and I like to hangout by the train tracks at my house and sometimes, my friends like to smoke some special stuff. I have done it a few times but know that its not great for me but I still do it. I was thinking of getting a vape because I have tried it and enjoyed it before, but people are saying if you don't smoke regularly then don't bother. I was wondering if this was still a reason to start vaping instead of smoking something else, I would just vape.

I already ordered a KANGER topbox mini starter kit, and halo Malibu juice with 3mg of nicotine. I havent got the vape yet but it will be here Wednesday. But I have vaped before and enjoyed the experience, it was relaxing and tasted good, so after a while I want to upgrade. Money really isn't a concern as long as I'm not spending stupid amounts of money on it. I'm not that interested in cloud chasing and more on flavor, but I would like to get some cool vapor to play with, but I'm more concerned about the flavor. I was looking at getting the SMOK G-priv with a VaporFi Rebel Tank. I saw good things about these but I didn't see many things on them. I'm going to upgrade to a new vape in a month or two or even as little as a few weeks depending how much I use it, but would love any input as to what I should upgrade to.

One quick question about the juice as well. I was trying to find reviews on a liquid I should get, but didn't really find anything on a specific brand. Would any liquid be ok or is a few brands I should stick with or even a few I should avoid?

I would love to have any input on this from anything even if you call me stupid for wanting to vape in the first place, thanks!

Well about the the juice, its really a matter of taste and trial and error. Personally I love the juices from Verde Valley Vapes... Great prices and flavor. As to the equipment you've ordered, I've heard good things about it but don't know diddly about it. :p

As to the green stuff you've mentioned smoking, it's against forum rules (one of the absolutely very few we do have). So you may wanna edit your post.

OH and a very warm welcome to ya.:wave:

I don't have the moral authority to tell you not to vape, I would only say if it's flavor your looking for, try 0 nic or 3mg at the most. Tmaxx and Verde Valley Vapes are quality low cost juices that you might consider. Good luck, and welcome to VU.

    @MEESTERburrito
    My thoughts on the topic:
If you are currently NOT a smoker, AVOID nicotine all together.
No reason to add something you don't need.
You can still vape just the same without it.
Normally I would suggest that if you aren't a smoker then don't bother with vaping in any way.
No reason to start a habit for no reason.
HOWEVER, in your case, if it will prevent the use of any other product, I am all for it.
Matter of fact I'd even suggest you definitely vape instead of any other product.
Good on your for at least considering the alternative.
The H-Priv is indeed a good product.
If you're looking at SMOK products, also take a look at the Smok Alien.
Great product and half the size.
For flavor tanks, there are a million.
Since you'd just be starting off, you could get either the H-Priv or the Alien starter kit.
They each come with a tank that'd treat you well.
Both will be a step up from the Kanger.
However if you try the Kanger and like it, stick with it and save your money.
But if you try it and feel you aren't getting enough flavor or whatever you want out of it, try the Smok line.
There are MANY mods and tanks we could all suggest based on opinion and or facts but it ALL comes down to personal preference.
    Vape what you like.
For flavors, unfortunately I can't add to that because I make my own and have no experience with store bought stuff.
Good luck and welcome to VU.

    Welcome.

My $.02, take it or leave it. I would go the 0 nic route. Addiction is not something you wanna test. If I could go back and have not smoked that first cigarette, knowing now what I didnt know then, I certainly would have never done it. Some people can just smoke ( or use nicotine by whatever method) occasionally or socially. I am not one of those people. I am jealous of those people. Most people are not one of those people. I hope that you are one of those people who can use it and not abuse it. If you can manage to only use nicotine on your terms, then you are a lucky one. And I envy you. But, like I said, my $.02 is stay off nicotine if you are not already hooked. Dancing with the devil.

And, of course, saying so makes me a bit of a hypocrite. Because i choose to still use nicotine. But, I have been actively stepping down my nicotine in my juice. To the end of not needing nicotine anymore. To get rid of the addiction that started so innocently with one here and one there.

Addiction does not happen overnight. Starts with one here and there. Then a little more. Then a little more frequently. And so on. Use it to feel a bit better at first. Then need it to feel normal.

I know this sounds preachy, but just wanted to give my honest opinion on starting a nicotine habit. What you do is your choice. And, more power to you in whichever route you choose.

Precisely. Perfect lyric. And no joke.

Deleted a lyric from the praragraph you are referencing

"And then one day you find, 10 years have gone behind you."

Just wasnt sure if we had enough floyd fans here to appreciate it with a certain forum rule.

"No one told you when to run.. you missed the starting gun.."

One of the most poignant lyrics/songs ever.
Always makes me think of how brief our time here is and how fast you become old.

If you can start vaping then you can definitely start. It is less dangerous and injurious to health and it is a good alternative to smoking.
