I think this will be a showdown. There is a new box on the market: The Asmodus Snowwolf 200w with temp control. I am debating whether to get this box, or go with old faithful: Sigelei 150w. I think the snow wolf is cool, but it is a new box so there isn't much feedback on it yet. Here is a link to the website with description about it:http://www.asmodus.com/SnowWolf-200W-Variable-Box-Mod-Temperature-Control-p/snowwolf-200w.htm And to make it interesting, I will attach VapingWithTwisted420's videos, to try and get a fair look at both these boxes. I would like to call this the heavyweight class, being that they're big boxes, with big power. Please let me know what you think, and what I should get. Thanks for looking! Sigelei: Snowwolf:
iPV3 LI will be out soon will do 200 watts and have Tc/Tl plus the chip is from Yihi price should be around $100-$120 for them prob more in b&m's. Just food for thought.
If need something today get the tried and tested sigelei, I still use the crap out of my sigelei 100 watt it's a tank. The snow wolf is to new to know how well it works in the long run. wait for more reviews. iPV3 LI will have a yihi chip so you know the chip will be good plus it will feature user frimware upgrades. Many opitions comming out lately my Vape budget hands are hurting lol.
for less then $75 you can get a sigelei 150 watt here or order the iPV3 Li for $109 from here when it comes available
Yes I buy from that vendor alot lol they have some of best prices on the web they even have black or silver ipv4 for $65 thats a hell of deal.
Cool beans m8 just get whatever makes you happy thats all that matters in the end. Have you seen the thread on the Asolo 200 watt? it's supposed to do tc on all wires even kanthal. May be a good choice if it functions as they describe ,but I would wait for reviews before buying this one.
Ive personally never seen a Sigelei clone..I think they are the godfather of mods and no one dares cross them...lol
The Snow Woff has all the makings of a contender, and looks good to boot. I am a Sigelei fan boy, so that took a lot for me to say. The dude in the video needs to stop biting his fingernails though, I don't want to see that shit....
Anyone know where or how i can get a protective case for the snowwolf 200? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yea, I feel like the Snowwolf will be up there. Maybe I'll just get the Snowwolf, and the Sigelei for cheap , and try out the ipv3 li and review them all to you guys
Sounds good, I would be interested to hear your feedback. I would prefer that you bought the SnowWolf for me, but your review comes a close second
you'll love the sigelei they are built like a tank. My ipv3 li should be here today we'll see how she vapes. You should check out the Sigelei 150 watt tc (temp control) box mod there's a few pictures floating around I think it looks rather unique. https://originvape.com/product/sigelei-150w-tc-temp-control-mod/
Got a coworker who has a snow wolf. Usef it a bit myself. Its a heavy mod and feels solidly built. Really like the screen on it snd it fired accurately when compared to my sig 100 watt with the same atty. Didnt get a chance to try the TP Function though. All in all i liked it a lot, and he hasnt had any issues with it so far. Id say cant go wrong with it, the sig 150 or the ipv3 li. Really cones down to budget and needs/wants im terms of TP. and im not sure if the snow eolf is upgradeable, which puts the ipv i the lead on that front, IMO.
Can't go wrong with the sig! No frills, flawless power! Keep in mind they are all worthless and incapable of putting out that top rated power without the right batteries. I will admit the wolf looks sweet though.
From what I read and understand, the Sigelei 150w TC, Sigelei 75w TC and the Snowwolf 200w all use the same chipset, just different wattages. From what ppl say, the Ipv3 li is great. Considering it was a toss up between the ipv3 and my Sigelei 150 when I got it, this time I will go Ipv TC instead of Sigelei TC.
I.think sigelei using a different chip company might not be a good idea. The reason the 100-150 did so good cause the yihi board is reliable. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
I've got a SW & just fired up the Li today. Both have their pro's cons but I'm really liking the Li. With the added benefits of upgradability which is already available for the Li (200w w/ Ti support) for the $$ you're better off with the Li. It's subjective but the weight of the SW, no user upgrade support I know of, and the 5 click standby feature have me skewed towards the Li. I will continue to use the SW of course cause it's a solidly built box and I've had no real issues with it. But if I leave the house I'm taking the Li with me.
I have both, and they are both very very good. The questions are: 1) do you want TC ? 2) will you break the glass ?
Only when I'm speaking..... I'm just not a fan of him,Matt from SMM or Rip. Its just my opinion but I think all three are blowhards that found a niche subject and took advantage. Hipster posers if you will. Granted, they occasionally give relevant info but I can't get past the ego, arrogance and "showmanship". I take all you tubers reviews with a grain of salt but those three usually require a shot(or more) of liquor. I'd rather watch a 45 min Grimm green beer review than listen to anything they have to say about gear.
The snow wolf is really really heavy. Its among the heaviest mods i have. Its not a carry around vape for me. The Sig is more of an everyday device...but the new sig 150 wtih tc is a game changer. I got the new sig 150 with temperature control in my hand here in usa and wrote a review...check it out here: http://www.wakeandvape.com/blog/sigelei-150w-temp-control-in-hand-review/
thats a sample no? thanks for sharing sig 150tc has same chip as ipv3 li just uses sigelei's interface and less watts
sigelie and pioneer4you are basically the same....i dont want start any rumours or tip any cards...but its true. And snow wolf is made by Sigelie in partnership with usa company. Basically sig and ipv are dominating the market right now.....
I love the review you conducted, very informative Is temperature control really worth of getting, If you are happy with sub-ohm tanks and pre-made atomizers
