They've been doing this on other platforms and I'd rather share my thoughts about them here.
A lot of us make samples of the flavors we buy. Share your thoughts about them here. I've somtimes done this in the daily mixing thread. But the notes get buried pretty quick.
You don't have to get all specific (about your wire and testing rig) but if you'd like to that's great. I'll start, but I'm not that great at picking out subtleties, or even putting my thoughts to words sometimes. I'm not the most thorough but I'll try to give you an idea if what I'm tasting.
Hopefully the notes we post can help others make wiser or even better purchases. People getting the new releases can tell everyone if they did or didn't like them. People getting obscure flavors can let everyone know how it tastes.. you get the idea..
This isn't about full on "flavor reviews". If you could drop a couple of sentences, that's better than nothing.
I'm not going to repost my thoughts on flavors I've done in the past but you can feel free to do so.
When posting about a flavor, the BOLD font helps the reader. I like to post the abbreviation of the flavor company first. *If you're new, and don't know what the intials stand for, this link has all the abbreviations for flavor companies*-http://vapingunderground.com/threads/rps-master-list-of-diy-flavor-supplier-abbreviations.38743/
So in BOLD, company abbreviation, then the name of the flavor, and at what percentage I sampled it at. Examples below-
SC- Mango (from Bullcity) @2%
I've always heard about this as being a good one. Some people claim it fades and hint about alcohol. If it fades dramatically, I'll know...maybe lol. I tried it about an hour after mixing and it tastes really nice. I don't get kuch of the piney or spicy notes people talk about. It's just a really good tasting mango flavor at this point. It's plenty strong at 2%.
VT- Shisha Mango @2%
This is another good tasting mango flavor. The potency seems to be on par with the SC Mango. To tell you the truth I have a hard time telling the difference. SC Mango didn't seem dry, but in comparison it seems that way. This flavor might be a bit "juicer". A more refined palate might be able to tell you more. I like it is all I know.
INW- Purple Blush @2%
I was expecting a Forrest Fruit-esque flavor here. But smelling it, grape was the main aroma. It's a really good flavor. Grape lovers will enjoy this. It's that grape or "purple" flavor, but underneath it is a jammy mixed berry kind of thing going on. It gives the grape some body and complexity. I've had flat tasting grape flavors and thin ones too. This one isn't. It isn't dry either, like I said whatever is going on under the grape really makes it good.
I'm sorry to say, I haven't mixed INW-Grape solo. I'm going to have to now, Im curious how much they differ. I've only got that one mainly to mix grack juice.
