22mm atties have been the standard diameter most of us seem to use, and seems to be the most commonly produced rda size. Stands to reason, considering battery and tube mod diameters. Looks good, makes sense.
Anyone who has used a reduced chamber sized atty like a Derringer, Bambino, etc, knows how well that smaller chamber seems to make flavors explode when compared to other rda's with larger chambers. Smaller chambers seem to work in favor of flavor, but you can only get them so small by reducing the height before you run out of build room.
Now I don't know about you, but I seem to prefer single coil builds...at least for the moment. The thing is, most atty's nowadays are made to accommodate duals, and although most do have single coil mode too, you end up with over half of the chamber as empty space. Seems to reason that if we were to significantly reduce that empty space, flavor would improve even further.
I remember seeing a post by a guy somewhere a while back talking about how his small diameter rds's were superior for flavor, so I know they're out there, but no one ever seems to discuss them. No idea who makes them, what styles or features or various diameters are available, but I for one am interested in learning more about these little guy's.
Anyone know anything?
tl;dr: 14-18mm rda's. List them. Go!
