The nice thing about that tank is they come in colors that match the mod.

...I'm really taken aback by the fact that most of them are not mentioning what a capable TC mod this device is. It's almost like they are avoiding it on purpose.
I agree, but one reviewer who admittedly does not vape in TC actually said the Charon TC was wonky. I was suprised because he's usually on point.I think 90%+ are either mostly or entirely clueless when it comes to understanding TC. I'd rather they leave it out than spout BS. So I guess that's a good thing? Need more high quality reviewers.

DJLsb Vapes review is up. Quick summary: Good build but the nice 510 plate wasn't screwed tightly enough leading it to rotate around some. Runs hot (both temp and power) with usable, even "smooth" TC.
I found it helpful to see the bench numbers and teardown.Deuces' review is plenty good enough for me. I don't have to waste my precious data on this guy.

Hey Mike, thanks for the kind words. They are greatly appreciated. Feedback like that is a big reason why I enjoy doing reviews. Glad you enjoy them and I truly appreciate yours and everyone else's support here.I understand completely. I used to like to see stuff like that but my circumstances being what they are now, I just want to know if it works like it's supposed to. There's too many of these 'reviewers' that either haven't used the gear enough to know anything about it, or are hung up on silly crap like "it comes in a really nice box".
I might check out Daniel sometime if there's something I want to see and neither Deuces or Anthony have a review for it. These are my "go-to" guys for anything vape related I want to get.
Michael
I would have never noticed that but now I cannot take my eyes off of it.I watched that as I am interested in the Mod but I think I will wait for version 2 and one thing I think is ugly is that silver button on the Bronze and Gold one, I think with matching buttons would look a lot better.

It's fun to enable. Also memorial day is coming up soon. Should be some good salesJack, you and Anthony are two of the people that prompted me to get the G2 while I could. Now that I got that on the way, I gotta figure out how I can get a Battlestar and a Charon. Of course I gotta have attys for 'em too.
Yeah, you're a coupla enablers alright.

I may be able to get one or the other, but mainly I just wanted to be a part of the elite club that is G2 owners.
Nope, not at all. In fact I'll say that it has one of the better 510's available at its price point.Hi Jack
Thinking of getting the Chaton. However, I saw a review on YouTube by Jai Haze. He showed how the 510 was terrible. All his atties didn't fit it properly and were wiggling from side to side on it. Did you encounter this problem?
I didn't have any wiggle either it's only when the tank isn't screwed all the way on and I tested it and it performed great as well.Hi Jack

Thx Bob, I really appreciate that. The two of you do great reviews. I started out watching varying reviews on utube but now I always look first to see if you guys did one.
Good job, guys.

Just got it yesterday. So far I really like it.Hey Deucesjack, have you had hands on the updated Smoant Charon with the potentiometer? Was debating between that one and the standard Smoant Charon.
Tough call cause they cater to 2 different types of vapers. If you're a Hexohm type of vaper you'll love the Variable. If you're a TC vaper you'll love the TC 218.That's a clean looking setup! I'm interested in hearing/reading more of your thoughts on this one, specifically if you only had to choose one, which would you go with (adjustable wattage vs adjustable voltage).
they are making both. I did the TC review already and smoant is sending me a VV one as well now so i'll be able to test it's limits and what it does. Are they still gonna make the tc model?
This is the review for the TC one. I'll review the Variable Wattage one but it won't be here. I'll post a link. Are they still gonna make the tc model?

thanks!Helluva good deal! I caught the tc review. Looking forward to the vv.

Agreed, one of my all time favs. This is helpful. Thank you. The Hexohm v3.0 is my favorite mod to use.
You're welcome. Glad I could be of assistance.Thank you so very much for your review, I am thinking that I Will be getting me one if the online store I have found it on for a decent price and have a bunch of reward points and a $10.00 off coupon code also, so if they still have it when I get my disability check by July the 19th, then I AM going to pull the trigger on it !!!
It is great in TC mode but believe it or not it runs a little hot. I find myself knocking the temp down by 10 to 20 degrees. So today, I decided to try the charon in tc mode. I used a 9 wrap 24g 316l on my favorite pharoah rta. I choose as mode at 420 temp and 48 watts. My goodness, I thought the fsk board was good with kanthal but thing is a shining star with tc mode. So smooth. I don't know why I waited so long.
Interesting, I did knock it down to 410 but liked 420 better. I used 420 on the fsk almost exclusively. I may use 410 but it is juice dependent. I know I tc less temps than most here. I was surprised. It is great in TC mode but believe it or not it runs a little hot. I find myself knocking the temp down by 10 to 20 degrees.
