smok alien ohms too low

Hi, my alien says ohms too low. Ive put an o'ring in between and it worked for a few minutes then went back to giving that message. I also have a eleaf ijust nexgen but dont have coils for it so can i use smok x4 coils for it in the meantime till i fix this/get eleaf coils? The coil fits and works fine just wanted to know if its safe to use.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. TIA

I have exactly the same problem with one that was given to me, just tried a factory reset going to flash the firmware to see if that gets it working again

What atomizer are you using on the Alien when it says Ohm too low?
