Just like firmware update from computer mother board BIOS to flashing the firmware on a router, you run the risk of damaging that critical software, aka making a nice expensive paper weight. Try plugging it back into your computer and run the flashing program again, maybe a re-write will help if the mod is detected. If not you've bricked the mod completely. Was there a necessary bug fix with the update, or just new options? If the first then I would see the need to update, if the second instance, don't risk it unless you know what you are doing and have a backup mod in case you brick the device

did you do the update correct? just try to reload the firmware again, it's a clean copy and should fix it

reinstall the firmware. Make sure you are using the unzipped file and not the zipped one
My vape wont go on to go to settings? Its like all the data has been erased?

When u update firmware you should not need settings. Most of the smok updates are done with no batteries in and the device off. Which update are u installing?
