I hope I'm posting in the correct subforum...
I seem to be burning up coils too fast in my tank. It's a smok VCT. The original coil went suddenly after 4 or 5 days, so I popped in the spare A1 that came with it. I just burnt it up this evening after a few more days. My liquid is max vg. Will that burn through a coil quicker? It seems the coils are tough to find around here right now. I ended up picking up a Ni200 at least. My box is an istick 40 TC, so it should work. Must I use this coil in TC mode, or cam I run it in standard mode? The resistance is lower .2 VS .5 in the A1. I guess I'm asking if I should adjust my equipment to avoid burning this coil. I primed both coils well, so I'm not sure what happened. I rarely go above 25 watts normally.
