Smok X Cube II dead after firmware upgrade

Hi,
got my X Cube II today and it worked fine.
To use the Android App i had to do a firmware upgrade from 1.06 to 1.08.
Made everything like it is shown in the upgrade guide on Smoktech.
After writing the New fw I disconnected the Mod, Put in fresh 18650s and nothing happend.
No matter what I do, the display stays dark and it doesn't fire any atomizer.

IT isn't even recognized by the PC. So I cannot write another firmware.

Any idea what i can do to bring it back to life?

You could try checking the battery's or making sure they are put in right

Check out The Vapor Chronicles on youtube. Brian just did a pretty comprehensive video on the upgrade. There are so many "little" things you have to check or uncheck as the case may be. Hope it helps!!!!

Tested 3 Sets of 18650s and I did the upgrade exactly like it is shown in the Video.
Looks like i have to make a RMA :-(

I got mine with that version now there is another. I cannot download it followed vapor chronicals video all I get in No aprom??? I am strating to really dislike smok they have had a bunch of mods that never work right?
