Smoky's Roasted Chestnuts

I have placed a few orders of FA flavors, and I always steer away from Chestnut because I haven't found a recipe with it... yet, last night I was thinking, should I order this just in case.... nah....

Smoky... did you go find some real chestnuts and roast them ? ( we were talking about this the other day for those that think this may be a smart ass question)

from my farmer's maket..
one small trick.. do not over do them.. or you can play baseball with them..
I like to do it really light, once the shells split i give them about 2-4 min..
but! I did not put any spices on them.. next time i plan on it.. I still have half a basket left..
i like chestnuts in my smoothies
