The next game in the Sniper series has been announced, and will take franchise in a "new direction".
CI Games has announced Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts, which will shake up the series' gameplay with the new contracts system that "delivers tense, mission-based scenarios with CI Games’ best sniping ever."
The single-player contract missions give players a main objective as well as optional secondary objectives that offer bonus payouts. The replayable contracts offer different approaches to get the job done, giving players the opportunity to hop back in to earn more rewards and try out different strategies.
We awarded the last game in the series, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 a 5.5, criticising technical issues and a lack of replayability - both of which CI is openly attempting to improve upon.
