I'm kinda wondering how my own son will take to coil-building; I don't mind doing it for him for a while, and teaching him, but geez, he's gonna be 29 in a week, so I don't wanna be doing it indefinitely. He may not want the kind of extreme-low-intensity vape I require, since he doesn't have asthma, but he *has* been prone to bronchitis his whole life since he suffered pneumonia at age 5, so I don't think he'll be a cloud chaser either -- maybe just more of a middle-of-the-road kinda vaper. I've got some 28ga kanthal that I once tried and then never again used, so he may benefit from that, and possibly also from the 2 different spools of stainless wire. But I think at first, he's gonna use up the brick of XL cartos I still have under my counter, as he transitions from smoking.
I saw him the other day, and he tried out my strawberry & cream; he found it a little hard to take, kinda choking him up though I advised him about puffing more like a cigar or pipe than a cigarette... but it may have been the high level of PG that bothered him; not many can take that much and not find it irritating. I thought I'd try to make some juice for him about 75/25 instead of 85/15, or maybe even 70/30; it really depends on how well his bronchitis-prone lungs can handle VG, and if he finds the need to continue having a lot of TH; he's always preferred Camel cigarettes, which I didn't find to have a lot of TH when I tried them; they're kinda smooth, but really dry.
