I'm new to this forum, I sincerely apologies if this not where I should post this but I'm attempting to elicit some guidance from those of you with more knowledge and more experienced than I. I have been building unregulated stacked box mods, and a plethora of DNA20/30 mods and I can soldier with the best of them and have a strong understanding of ohms law. I have an idea for project for my own personal use very closely based on the:
Easy OKR-T VV mod found here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/191607-easy-okr-t-vv-mod.html
In that modders plans he is using the OKR-T/6-W12 chip (rated for 6 amps)
I essentially want to build the same schematic but with OKR-T/10 which theoretically raises the amp rating from 6 amps to 10.
Will all the other parts he listed with the OKR -T/6 W12 work with the OKR-T/10?
I think the the resistor and the variable resister may need to be replaced with something that can handle the higher current.
Like I said this mod will be for personal use only so added safety features are not necessary because I calculate and check batteries drain and will keep all limitations in mind. I have no desire for displays and other superfluous features (for my personal use only)
I am also curious if a similar, simple set up can be achieved using Naos Raptor (20amp) for even more high powered versatility.
I plan on powering this device with two Sony VCT5 18650s.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My shoping list right now (subject to change post advice obviously) and I have yet to choose a 510 connector and an enclosure.
