Director of Black Panther, Ryan Coogler has been hired on to produce the Space Jam sequel, according to THR.
LeBron James said he “I loved his vision” for Black Panther, mentioning to THR that when he was a kid there were no black superheroes. "So for Ryan to be able to bring that to kids, it’s amazing," James said.
The project is being run by Warner Bros. and is set to begin in 2019.
