hi there, any suggestions on what works best when using uwell crown tank ss coils on temp control using juice of about 80VG/20PG( preferably the .25 ohm ss coils) im looking to lengthen the life of my coils without subtracting from performance that much, thanks
Hi
@miks1 , and welcome to the Vaping Underground! The crown is SPIFFY in TC with the .25 SS coils. Lengthening the life is partially a function of the juice you use, the temp you set, and your mods ability to handle the multiple coils of that OCC atomizer. The less sweetener or "solids" (like WTA tobacco's) in your juice, the better. The lower the temp you use, the better, and if you have a mod that supports a "dual coil" mode vs. single, then you'll have the trifecta of long life. The XCube2 has a DC (dual coil) mode, and it works great with the crown.
Also, if you take your coil out when performance drops, you can rejuvenate it pretty nicely by soaking it in alcohol, and then carefully "screwing" a Qtip in and out of the coils (following the twist of the coil direction) a few times, bath, twist, bath, twist. When you blow the air out, and let it dry, you'll see the coil is shiny again, and the cotton quite white.
Good luck, and looking forward to seeing you around!
