Stainless steel wire???

OK, this might of been covered, and my google-fu is that of grasshoppah today, so I'm asking you guys:

Has anyone built a coil using ss wire? Reason I ask is I just watched a review on the UWELL Crown sub-ohm tank, and it uses ss wire for the coils. Any safety risks? If anyone has any info on this subject I'd greatly appreciate it.

Oh wow! I'm not even trying to sub-ohm at this point, but I can see how it could be useful for that aspect. Right now I'm using 30ga kanthal, 10 wraps, dual coils around a 3mm screwdriver to get to 1.4 ohms on my quasar, and I'm thinking there may not be enough room if I were to use ss.
