How do you guys rare TPA straw berry compared to others

They are all a bit different.

Capellas is my favorite sweet strawberry. Its like the taste you would get in a strawberry pie from Shoneys with that gooey red stuff dripping all over it.. Tastes great in a strawberries and cream recipie.

FlavorArt has the best flavor if your looking for a strawberry that is very realistic, you can close your eyes and think you are smelling a just picked ripe strawberry complete with the little green leaves.

I used TPA/TFA For a long time before I discovered the above mentioned. TPA/TFA tastes like Pez candy to me. They do carry two different ones I think.

I have Inawera but havent used it much as Ive found my two favorites for their desired effect for me and my senses.

My two cents.... My taste buds. Your tastebuds may vary.

Others can chime in on other brands.

I vaped a mixture of 5% TFA Strawberry, 5% TFA Blueberry extra and 5% TFA Peach for a very long time. It is a great vape. I still make it for my daughters.

These TFA flavors (like the strawberry) by themselves need to be at around 10% or so.....some like them up to 15%

In a mix, you less accordingly. You will have to experiment.

New batch using 3 fa flavors prob totaling 5% between the three. Then maybe like 8 to 10 % of the tpa strawberry

That sounds about right for the TFA if your mixing with FA flavors. Some are pretty potent.
You may want to add 5% TFA strawberry and go up a percentage after vaping each time until you get the desired taste.

When I mix TFA strawberry, I use 6% normally to start, then jack it up/down depending on the strawberry I need.

Only my 2 cents. I agree with Thunderball, caps sweet strawberry is great. It's very close to one of my favorites.

I have both and prefer the caps version. It's a much deeper richer taste. I usually end at 8%

FA Strawberry is not only the most authentic one Ive tried its pretty darn concentrated, only needing around 3-5% max in my experience. FYI: I heard from a friend that a 2:1 mix of FA Strawberry & TPA Strawberry Ripe is fantastic, apparently the most well rounded strawberry he's ever tried. I'm working on a Strawberry, Blueberry & Cream recipe so I'm definitely gonna give that a go.

I would recommend using the 2:1 mix of FA Strawberry & TFA Strawberry Ripe at around 3-5% + some (% depends on flavor strength/concentration) of the best Vanilla Cream you can find. The best strawberry milkshakes use vanilla ice cream, of course, so a creamy vanilla will IMHO be an essential ingredient. There are LOTS of creamy vanilla flavorings, like Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Swirl etc. I would suggest getting several small bottles (5-10ml) of Vanilla Cream/Vanilla Ice Cream type flavors, choose the ones with the best reviews. Sample them by themselves & then use the best one (or combination of them) for your Strawberry Milkshake.
Please let me know what you choose & how it works out, I LOVE Strawberry Milkshakes.

You might want to give this DEA Milk Flavor Concentrate a try. I haven't tried it personally but their juices have really good reviews, so you never know, it could be just what you need for your Strawberry Milkshake: (>---DEA MIlk Flavor Concentrate---<)

I'm a little late here but German Flavours Strawberry at 6% has been the best so far for me as real ripe strawberry. The hull taste in a lot of them bothered me, didn't want candy or syrupy...picky picky. I tried all the ones I could get my hands on and had just about given up.

I'm pretty picky about ripe strawberry flavors. Caps is my first choice, then TFA, then Inawera.

I really enjoy strawberry flavors and have been wanting to make a juice that is more of a full ripe strawberry flavor - not one that tastes like a fake pie filling. Following WilliamC83's post regarding the 2:1 ratio I mixed this:

FA Strawberry 3%
TFA Strawberry Ripe 2%
FA Custard 1%
FA Meringue .5%

I'm quite pleased with this! The custard is there, but FA's helps bring out the strawberry flavor (since it has a hint of lemon on its own). What's interesting to me is in my Kayfun I taste more of a pure ripe strawberry, but in my dripper it's more of a strawberry cream - it's not overly pronounced, but it's there. I like it both ways.

At some point I might play around with it a bit, however I'm going to vape this combo for awhile! There's most likely gonna be a heavy strawberry custard whipped up in the future. And a strawberry cheesecake. Hmmm...I feel the 2:1 ratio can be used as a springboard for many recipes where a more natural strawberry is preferred.

Thanks! I was surprised how much I liked it, even with a low concentration of flavors.

Your Irish cream mix sounds good too! I'm gonna haffa jot that down!

@Zortec2112, Yeah the friend who told me about the 2:1 ratio of FA Strawberry & TFA Strawberry Ripe said it was the most authentic (true to the berry) strawberry he's ever tried. Unfortunately I don't have any TFA Strawberry Ripe so I haven't tried it yet however, I definitely plan to. I'm not much of a fruit vaper these days but admittedly I have been enjoying the FA Strawberry lately, especially with a lil cream & vanilla of some kind. Now regarding the FA Meringue, what is the flavor profile on that? Is it just a cream type flavor or does it have citrus notes in it?

@Roguexx, So how is your Old Fashion Strawberry Milkshake coming along? Any eureka moments with your recent test recipes? A couple flavors you should check out are: FW Tres Leches & FA Vienna Cream.

To be honest, I've never tried the meringue by itself. I merely used it to "sprinkle a little sugar" on the strawberries. It seems that many recipes that use meringue have it as a sweetener. I need to make the time to test flavors standalone. Normally I'll just mix up a recipe or two to keep the juice supply topped off.

I'd think that the two strawberry flavors would be good together (2:1 ratio) replacing the FA custard & meringue with FA Vienna cream as well!

Sorry - I wish I could give you a better answer about the meringue!

Thank you for your post about the FA & TFA strawberries! That's just what I was after flavor wise!

FA Strawberry is on my short list to buy.
I like FW Strawberry 5-10% depending on the mix. Cap Strawberry is ok, but not that I would buy again. I was disappointed with TFA Strawberry Ripe as I was hoping it would be as strong as Banana Ripe. The flavor was pretty good, but on the very weak side. I might give it another try, but I would rather try FA's first.

I would describe Strawberry Ripe TPA as a seedless strawberry jam. It's pretty good but not like biting into the fruit like FA. In some cases the simpler tatse of the TPA version may work better.

I recently got some Ripe Strawberry by Signature at ecigexpress.com & it smells ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Literally smells like real strawberry, very impressive aroma. Unfortunately I haven't made any juice with it yet as Ive been sick however, it is one of if not the best smelling strawberry flavorings Ive come across, not to mention it also has some good reviews. For anyone who really likes Strawberry I HIGHLY recommend you get at least 10ml to try. At the moment ecigexpress only has 120ml & 250ml sizes available for this flavoring however, $14 for 120ml is a really good price IMHO.
I'm going to mix a couple recipes with this Signature Ripe Strawberry & FA Strawberry today. For one recipe I'm going to do 3% (FA) Strawberry + 2% (Sig) Ripe Strawberry & for another recipe I will be doing the opposite. I will be adding a little FA Fuji Apple & a little cream of some kind to both recipes, I'll let you know how they turn out.

Here is a link to the Signature Ripe Strawberry flavoring for whomever is interested:

@WilliamC83 The signature line at ECX is redistributed TPA/TFA. Try searching "apprentice" on ECX. Good news that you like the ripe straw, lots of recipes use it!

"Stacking flavors" is an effective approach imo. Especially when one's highlights are in the exhale, and another's is the inhale. Also imo, be sure to set aside a few ml of your test batches to steep for 2 weeks, incase there's a quality that would otherwise go unnoticed. FA fruits usually surprise me after a week or two, delicious as they are fresh.

Good stuff, Laughmore. I didn't know that about the ECX Signature line, thanks for the heads up. I'm sure they have their reasons for doing it however, vendors who re-brand other manufacturers flavors under a new name/label is kinda irritating. One site (can't remember which, maybe HDV?) had a vanilla custard flavoring under the name "Ella's Gourmet Flavor Drops". I really liked it so I kept buying it from them for several months. Then I found out it was actually re-branded Capella's which I could have been getting it from ECX for MUCH cheaper, so its quite misleading & essentially false advertisement IMHO.

As for "Stacking flavors", SHH! Don't let the cat out of the bag just yet, that is a trade secret I learned from a friend who recently started his own juice company here in Sacramento, CA. Stacking flavors not only allows you to produce custom one off flavors (with the right flavors in the right ratios that is) it allows you to combine the best characteristics of each individual flavor into one profile, if that makes sense. Lets say I want a unique Blueberry flavor that is authentic (true to the berry) but with a hint of candy Blueberry. I will then buy several different Blueberry flavorings (the ones with the best reviews/feedback) & test each flavor to gauge their profile. I will then use the most authentic tasting Blueberry as my primary Blueberry base & then add a touch of the best candy type Blueberry, possibly throwing in a bit of Blueberry with a tart essence to it to round out the profile. This will (theoretically) give me a Blueberry that is primarily authentic but with an essence of candy & a touch of tart, possibly & probably unlike any Blueberry that is in any retail juice currently. This is just an example of "flavor stacking" & what you can achieve with it however, nailing a specific & unique flavor profile is NOT as easy as it might sound.
