Tank spits on one mod and not the other?!

I have the cubis tank. I use a .25 notchcoil.

I use it on the Artery Nugget mod. I have it on temp control. 500 degrees at 30 watts. Spits like crazy until warmed up.

I use it on the EVICVTCMINI I use it on variable wattage. Again at 30 watts. No spitting.

Any insight on how that's possible? Same tank and coil!

It's the difference in using TC or Power mode. In power mode the coil gets hotter than in TC mode. Therefore, if you were to increase the watts on the Averty Nugget mod, it would stop spitting as well. Or, the other way around, if you would use it in TC (500F and 30W) on your VTC Mini, you would get spitting as well.
If that's not the case, either mod is not putting out the proper power.
