“Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
- Ben Frankin

I'll start this thread (every forum needs a Beer thread, it's the law)

Tonight I'm savoring a Dark Imperial Stout: EvilTwin Brewing's Imperial Biscotti Break.

  • Good aroma
  • Nice thick head you could float a sixpence on
  • Strong as Imperial Stouts should be, 11.5%
  • Thick mouth feel, almost too much
  • The coffee flavor comes through quite well
  • Not really getting the biscotti flavor, perhaps a hint.
It's a great stout, kinda expensive and has loads of flavor. Not sure If I would buy it again. There's lots of super stouts (double and triple Imperials!) to try.

Just returned from Milwaukee on business. Had Spotted Cow (New Galrus) of course, Gumballhead (Three Floyds), some light fruity beer from OG (Original Gravity) and some 9.8% monster I don't remember the name of, brewed with tea and spices...All great beers!

I have really been enjoying Lagunitus Little Sumpin' Sumpin'. Unfortunately I think I bought my Giant Eagle out last weekend. I hope they restock it. It's a wheat IPA and completely delicious IMO.

Not totally proud of it but I had a pile of Budweiser's on my friends boat fishing off the NJ coast (another friend drove). Home now enjoying an Innis & Gunn (Original) and a neat Tullamore Dew. :)
