I might as well chime in.
I've had this baby for about a year and a half and it still works just as well as the day I got it. It was my main carry for months, now primarily a work mod because I know it can handle abuse. It's had a few serious drops, one from about six feet onto concrete(at work). All it did was put a little chip on a corner.
I've never had a paint job hold up this well. The only chips are on the edges from drops. Regular usage has done almost nothing as far as wear and tear goes. Even the bottom, which is the first area to go, is barely scuffed. No metal showing.
Because of the price and simplicity, Hexohms aren't for everybody. But if you want something that works, won't stop working, and will be fixed for free if by some freak of nature it does stop working, then this is the way to go.
