Vaporesso XROS2 battery keeps turning itself off

Hi, got a Vaporesso XROS2 today. I have the mini and like the pod. But the XROS2 requires that I click it five times quickly to turn it on before it will work. Is this intentional? As long as I hit it every few seconds it is fine. But if I set it down a few minutes later it has shut off. Didn’t see anything in the documentation that came with it.

Water Drop Air Inle
• Dual Activation Mode
• 1000 mAh Built-in Battery
• Tiding Battery Indicator
• SSS Leak-Resistant Technology
From what I'm reading yes the automatic shut off is built in & intentional. You can activate via the five clicks on or off & from what I'm comprehending in the reading, by drawing on it. If I'm incorrect in that apologies. It was how cig-a-likes used to do for a while & Smok Tech kind of made it standard as well, other companies followed suit. This is to get that puny 1000 mAh battery to
keep you going for over a day.

I agree with @MyMagicMist - I believe it is an built in shut off . I found this by a google search.

Vaporesso Xros Not Hitting

The Vaporesso Xros has a power-off function that helps to prevent the device from firing accidentally when you carry it in your pocket. If nothing happens when you try to vape with the Xros, you should first try pressing the fire button five times quickly to turn the device on. If nothing happens, charge the battery. If the Vaporesso Xros still isn’t hitting, watch the LED indicator; it should blink to tell you what the problem is.

  • If the light blinks three times, there is a problem with the battery. Make sure that the device is fully charged. Check the USB port on the bottom of the device for dust or lint that could prevent the device from receiving a strong charge. Remove contaminants with a toothpick.
  • If the light blinks five times, there is a problem with the pod; either the resistance if the atomizer coil is incorrect, or the Vaporesso Xros isn’t detecting the pod at all. Check under the pod for condensation that could prevent the pod from making a good connection with the device. If you see moisture, remove it with a paper towel or cotton swab. If the device is dry, try using a different pod.
