I have only have one resolution which is to exercise with bringing down my sugar level which is on the borderline of becoming diabetic.

Thx... I guess it does, but I don't think anyone is ever ready to lose their mother. It takes away something very fundamental to one's own identity, even if the relationship was a bit rocky.

Other than the resolution to not need to attend any family funerals this year, it's pretty much SOP... to stay sober and stay smoke-free. In July, I'll be smoke-free for 3 yrs, though I'll hit 3 yrs as a vaper on Feb 1. On Aug 14, I'll have 25 yrs sober. On Aug 21, my husband's sobriety date, we're planning to drive up to Anderson, SC, to see the full eclipse.
Before any of that, I'll celebrate 30 yrs of wedded bliss on July 20.
So it's a fairly banner year... 30 yrs happily married, 25 yrs sober, 3 yrs smoke-free.

One day at a time. Even after nearly 25 yrs sober, if I even let the thought cross my mind that I'll NEVER drink again... I'd wanna get drunk.

I resolve to not make resolutions. It's the only resolution I've never broken.
12 years sober, here, but there was drama involved in that one, LOL. I'm grateful for it, regardless.

Spending more on this then I was on smoking! 
Last year I thanked people for being douche bags, smelly fuckers or just rude.
I also vow to taco kick or chop those in dire need of one.. or a throat punch.
